For the Summer 2024 season, Nice Côte d'Azur is operating a bigger network of destinations than in 2019, when its network consisted of 120 destinations to 44 countries and 8 long-haul destinations.
"Nice Côte d'Azur is the natural gateway to and from a landlocked but dynamic and highly attractive region. The development of its network reflects the growing demand for direct flights to and from the main holiday and business destinations," says Franck Goldnadel, Chairman of the Board of Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur.
An expanded schedule
While many of the routes operated this summer were already in operation last year and have been maintained because of their relevance, particularly for cross-country routes in France or for major European destinations, the new season offers 20 new routes, including to 12 new destinations:
- Agadir (easyJet)
- Aalborg (Norwegian)
- Abu Dhabi (Etihad Airways)
- Alicante (easyJet)
- Kefalonia (easyJet)
- Faro (Transavia France)
- Valletta (easyJet)
- Nuremberg (EuroWings)
- Philadelphia (American Airlines)
- Rabat (easyJet)
- Tenerife (easyJet)
- Yerevan (FlyOne)
This schedule also includes 2 routes that now operate year-round flights (Rabat and Tenerife, with easyJet) and 2 new countries (Armenia and Malta).
A record number of long-haul flights
Undoubtably, what makes Nice Airport special, is that it serves a region that is isolated yet has an international reputation: With 13 long-haul routes, Nice Côte d'Azur offers direct connections to North America and the Gulf States.
- Air Canada to Montreal ;
- Air Transat to Montreal ;
- American Airlines to Philadelphia (new) ;
- Delta Airlines to Atlanta et New-York JFK ;
- La Compagnie to Newark ;
- United Airlines to Newark ;
- Saudia to Riyadh ;
- Gulf Air to Bahrain ;

"The continued growth of our network to and from North America and the Gulf countries is excellent news for the people living on the Côte d'Azur and for our region. These long-haul flights play a major role in opening up our region and represent a wealth of opportunities for businesses throughout the Riviera, from Var to Liguria. In addition, these are direct routes, so they're faster, shorter and generate fewer emissions", explains Franck Goldnadel, Chairman of the Board of Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur.
