Major roadworks are due to begin on Monday 28 September 2026 on the Promenade des Anglais, near the Pont du Mercantour.
From 2 October 2026 until March 2027, traffic will be restricted to two lanes in each direction, with some slip roads closed.
Significant disruption is expected between Nice city centre and the airport.
We recommend that you plan your journey in advance and allow for extra travel time.
Temporary traffic restrictions will also be in place on the nights of 28–29 September and 1–2 October.
