La Plage by Thierry Marx at Nice Airport… Wow! It has everything: parasols, deckchairs, boardwalks and even the viewpoint with its binoculars so you can see and be seen.
The sounds and smells of the coast, the play of light and shade, a gentle breeze... It’s all there. Just close your eyes, and you’ll really believe you’re on the beach! Once again, Nice airport is an innovator, creating experiences.

Visible from afar with its giant slide descending to the departure hall, La Plage by Thierry Marx is a unique oasis of blue and white stripes, inspired by coastal havens and the legendary beach bars of Cannes and Saint-Tropez.
“I wanted to recreate this joyful, festive atmosphere and prolong the wonderful experience of staying on the Côte d’Azur, right up to the boarding gates,” the chef explains.

What’s on the menu at Nice Airport’s La Plage restaurant?*

Every lunchtime, the cooking goes on show!
“A cook is above all an artisan, working with raw materials,” says Thierry Marx. “I want to show the hands that feed us.”
The perfect accompaniment to all this? A house cocktail or mocktail, a glass of champagne, some good French wine, or a local beer (to be enjoyed with moderation).
If you’re travelling in the morning, you can get your choice of breakfast with hot drinks, fruit and vegetable juices, pastries and sourdough with spreads.

If you’re feeling lazy, there are deckchairs and comfy swing seats.
You can order food and drink from your deckchair, or go to La Plage’s bar or neighbouring restaurant.
The chef has designed a stylish snacking menu which is full of sun-drenched local produce and puts regional cuisine in the spotlight.
There’s something for all tastes and all budgets, with delicious, fresh mixed salads, and generous charcuterie and cheese boards…
For children, there is a special menu with a surprise in store.
