To the delight of food-loving passengers, dining at Terminal 2 at the Aéroport Nice Côte d’Azur has been revamped with the arrival of chef Bruno Oger to offer a Mediterranean bistro experience.
Every journey is unique, and cuisine helps food-loving passengers to have a flavourful experience at the airport. As such, the renown and expertise of chef Bruno Oger, a key figure of the Côte d'Azur, will help to shake up the food offered at the Estivale restaurant.
This dining spot in Nice offers to passengers and locals alike a contemporary, sunny and creative eating experience. The Estivale Bar and Restaurant offers breathtaking views of the runways from the first floor of Terminal 2 (in the public area, so accessible to all) in a refined and natural atmosphere. It is, without a doubt, the contemporary dining spot of the hour for eating at the airport.
Bruno Oger, chef and owner of “la Villa Archange”, an establishment with two Michelin stars and the title of Grandes Tables du Monde, promotes cooking that aims to be inventive, seasonal, environmentally friendly, and always inspired by the Mediterranean regions.
In more of a bistro style, chef Bruno Oger has incorporated this cooking vision, that is both challenging and generous, into the menu designed for the Estivale restaurant. With the help of resident chef Nicolas Vie, they have created recipes that change with the seasons, are inspired by the repertoire of French cuisine, and all while spotlighting quality products.
The customers at the Estivale restaurant will be able to dine on roasted scallops with a porcini butter sauce or king prawn, mangetoutand fennel marinière or grilled eggplant with sesame, zucchini mint and chickpea hummus with cumin.
With a breathtaking view of the runways, the sea, the mountains and the city, this unique space offers a double spectacle: on your plate and through the window. The elegant, tasteful furniture uses natural materials like wood decorated with azulejos. It is a haven of neutral shades and lovely, warm light. It oozes tranquillity and refinement: the perfect introduction to the Côte d’Azur, or a great goodbye to the Riviera.
This bistronomic restaurant is not only open to the public, but it also welcomes seminars, co-working sessions and business meals. Located on the city side, in the public zone of Terminal 2, the restaurant is accessible to everyone: passengers leaving or arriving and visitors. What’s more, the parking is free!
